Steeltown Ford is looking for a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team!

As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our dealership has a competitive and appealing inventory. You will identify, source, and acquire vehicles that meet our business needs, while maintaining excellent relationships with wholesalers, auctions, and private sellers. Your expertise will directly impact our inventory quality, sales performance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and acquire vehicles from auctions, dealerships, wholesalers, and private sellers.

• Evaluate vehicles for condition, market value, and potential profitability.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and logistics to ensure optimal acquisition deals.

• Collaborate with sales, service, and finance teams to understand inventory needs.

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle acquisitions, costs, and transportation.

• Monitor market trends and competitor inventory to make informed acquisition decisions.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and dealership standards during the acquisition process.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in automotive sales, procurement, or related roles preferred.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Knowledge of automotive markets, vehicle valuation, and industry trends.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Valid driver’s license
