BRP-Can-am Ski-doo Technician

Midcan Powersports is looking for a motivated and skilled Powersports Technician to join our service team. As a Powersports Technician working at a certified BRP dealership you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on snowmobiles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports equipment

• Complete scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake service, and tune-ups

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new units

• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation of work performed

• Work closely with the Service/Parts Advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Participate in manufacturer training to stay current with new models and technology

Qualifications

• Previous experience with BRP, Can-am, Ski-doo, motorcycles, or automotive technician preferred but not required

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities

• Experience with ATVs, snowmobiles, or similar equipment considered an asset

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Valid driver’s license required

• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
