Small Engine/PDI Technician

Midcan Powersports is seeking a skilled Small Engine/PDI Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles, diagnose and repair small engines, and ensure all equipment meets BRP standards before reaching our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician to grow their skills in a dynamic powersports environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new snowmobiles, ATVs and BRP products.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and related components.

• Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer and safety standards.

• Test ride or operate equipment safely to confirm proper functionality.

• Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient service department.

• Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in small engine repair, powersports, or related field is required

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license

• Knowledge of BRP products is an asset but not required.
